Dale Anderson has been involved in the Michigan music world in every aspect since as long as he can remember. Spanning more than 50 years, Dale’s accumulation of skills in the industry include, teaching, publishing, performing and instrument sales and distribution.

As a teacher, Dale has taught public instrumental music for over 30 years, and as far as private institutions, Dale has been associated with Roeper Schools, Detroit’s Friends School and Cranbrook Schools, for over 25 years.

Besides Dales experience with both public and private instruction Dale has organized and implemented the largest private Double Bass studio in Michigan.

Dale has been nationally recognized with the publishing of his scale and method string books for Bass, Cello, Viola and Violin through RA Editions, produced along with Marek Rachelski. The books are used in Universities and High Schools throughout the United States.

Performing has been an important balance in Dale’s life. Bringing him the experience of gracing the stage of many fine establishments, such as, The Fox Theater, Fisher Theater, Hill Auditorium, Masonic Temple, The Palace and DTE, just to name a few.

The list of entertainers and organizations that have called on Dale to perform with them include, Joni Mitchell, Amy Grant, Deep Purple, Capella Ballet (Michigan Opera Orchestra), Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Michael Bolton, Sarah McLaughlin, Candid Opera (Michigan Opera Theater), Yes, Moody Blues, Musica Lumina, Dr. Z, Joe Williams, Ben Pruitt Big Band (Worlds Oldest Jazz Club- Bakers Keyboard Lounge), The Three Tenors, Regis Philbin, Flint Symphony, Ann Arbor Symphony, Saginaw Symphony, Michigan Opera Theater Orchestra and Windsor Symphony Orchestra.

Dale is also the Co Founder of Montage Classical String Quintet, a member of the Musica Lumina Ensemble, and Founder of The Uptown Jazz Trio.
